Results-driven and multidisciplinary IT professional with a strong foundation in Software Engineering, Information Technology, and Telecommunications. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication and Information Technology from Kenyatta University and have recently completed intensive training in Software Engineering and Full-Stack Development, gaining expertise in building secure, scalable, and user-centered digital solutions.
Over the past five years, I have supported public sector and financial institutions in both technical and strategic capacities. My experience includes:
ICT System Administration at Longisa County Referral Hospital, where I managed systems such as KenyaEMR, supported health data reporting (KHIS/DHIS2), maintained LAN/WAN infrastructure, and conducted user training.
Technical Support Internship at National Bank of Kenya (NBK), where I provided frontline tech support during a core banking migration, assisted with workstation and network setup, and supported the rollout of digital banking channels.
Exposure to card systems and ATM platforms, alongside a growing interest in financial technologies, systems integration, and IT security.
I bring a blend of hands-on system administration, web application development (React, Node.js, Flask, MySQL/PostgreSQL), and networking skills (TCP/IP, VPN, Linux/Windows Server, Fortinet, Cisco). I also have a working knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including familiarity with PCI-DSS standards, secure authentication, and endpoint protection.
