I am an objective and highly skilled professional in the areas of Training, Strategic planning and management, Capacity building and strengthening, leadership and management, Corporate governance, Risk management, Ethical finance, banking, team leadership and management, projects/programs planning and management and Social and environmental performance management. In today’s era of ESG, I am currently championing the organizational culture change within Caritas Nairobi where I am currently managing Social-economic Empowerment as well as in 10 other dioceses in the country where I am doing mentorship on Ethical Finance training and Social Environment Performance Sensitization and Training. I have over 16 years of experience in community interventions in financial literacy, Capacity building and strengthening, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion through banking services. I have gained this experience through working at Sidian Bank as a microfinance officer for 5.5 years, at African Provident limited for one (1) year and In the Archdiocese of Nairobi; Caritas Nairobi Department for the last eleven (11) years. In my current position at Caritas Nairobi, I have been leading teams and implementing strategies and livelihood programs, projects and interventions focused on changing the lives of communities in Nairobi and Kiambu counties through financial literacy training entrepreneurship and financial education, vocational skills capacity building and strengthening as well as instilling a savings culture among communities and enhancing financial access to communities. I am also working with Caritas Africa and Caritas Kenya to enhance entrepreneurship in communities in 9 African countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, DRC Congo, Senegal, Togo, and Burkina Faso on a project aimed at Supporting the Promotion of Ethical Finance through Capacity Strengthening of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) serving Community and Civil Society Organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa.

• I spearheaded the change of Economic Empowerment Programme governance structure from the former 12 members led committees to a leaner and more professionalized 7 member led committee and Board of Management in big groups of a share capital of US$. 5 million and above. This has aided governance, operations, customer service and day to day compliance in most of the groups’ operations.
• I am spearheading the team in awareness creation and initiation of a socioeconomic empowerment programme in Tombura Yambio South Sudan, Central Africa Republic, Catholic Diocese of Malalal, Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri and Catholic diocese of Kakamega in Kenya respectively.
• I spearheaded the restructuring of PROMIC programme from an inactive unsustainable programme to current more sustainable programme with clear going concern.
• I am a key player in starting and implementation of a MISSIO GERMANY funded urban refugees and host community unemployed youths strengthening assistance capacity project covering Nairobi and Kiambu County. The main goal of this project is to strengthen urban refugee assistance and offer technical support to host community unemployed youths. It is a two years project and my involvement has been project design, budgeting and budgetary controls and capacity building especially in the second phase of the project.
• Currently finalizing a partnership with GIZ on Self-help groups modelling, financial literacy training and revolving fund management in Northern, Eastern and Coastal parts of Kenya on a project GIZ is doing with Accacia EPZ ltd titled: Gum Arabic for Livelihoods, Food Security and Sustained Economic Impact/Entrenching Sustainability in Gum Arabic Value Chain that is aimed at promoting food security and livelihoods for 51,000 households while entrenching business & environmental sustainability.
