Assess our agent network on an ongoing basis and identify weaknesses to provide Wave with relevant data to help improve our service quality and improve our agent network reliability.
Be responsible for the analytical functions involved with the daily monitoring of our customers’ activities ensuring compliance with regulations, company... policies and procedures.
Monitor and review data to assess whether customers’ behaviour and their transactions warrant further review.
Conduct suspicious activity and reputation risk investigations as warranted.
Travel and visit regularly assigned wave agents and interact with them in person to gauge customer service.
Discreetly inspect our premium cash office environment to detect possible concerns and areas for improvement.
Implement and follow up on prescribed corrective actions and preventive controls recommendations and provide status updates to the wider fraud and compliance team.
Use statistical data and other means of analysis for forensic audit investigations to support link analysis activities, providing meaningful information that will assist in preventing future incidents.
Investigate the field team’s adherence to processes and policies through random calls and field visits to disclose competing interests, including dislike of particular wave points.

The Premium Cash Officer plays a crucial role in our liquidity operations by serving our customers and rebalancing our mobile money agents with either cash or e-float. We are looking for someone skilled enough to guide and mentor the Premium Agent Assistant (PAA) and dynamic enough to manage any conflict that could occur in the premium outlet.

Control access to the safe/cash house, including... managing cash in and cash-outs between the safe and the PAA accounts.
Hold the end-of-day bill counting and maintain daily reconciliation of premium agent outlets.
Ensure that all cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury system.
Promptly request sufficient funds from the head office to ensure no service disruptions and delays at the outlet while serving our customers and agents.
Be responsible for the receipt and dispatch of cash through the Cash In Transit (CIT) team.
Ensure all cash management policies and guidelines are adhered to.
Responsible for the escalation and follow-up of all issues that impede the well-functioning of the premium outlet.
Encourage proximity agents to be liquid through frequent tracking, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Support agent/customer needs to provide immediate support on Wave’s offer information, opening accounts, system, application, and physical cards.
