About
I am a finance, audit, and risk management professional with over nine years of experience across development finance, international consulting, humanitarian organizations, and the private sector. As a Country Mission Expert for the Democratic Republic of the Congo at the Development Bank of the Great Lakes States (BDEGL), I contribute to identifying, assessing, and structuring high-impact investment projects that foster economic growth, regional integration, and sustainable development.
My expertise spans financial analysis, investment project appraisal, internal and external audit, risk management, internal controls, fraud prevention, donor compliance, and financial governance. My professional journey includes experience with KPMG DRC and international development organizations, where I worked in complex and fragile operating environments.
Alongside my professional career, I am a researcher and university lecturer focusing on entrepreneurship, digital transformation, SME development, financial inclusion, and sustainable development in Africa. I am particularly interested in using finance, technology, and applied research to strengthen businesses, create opportunities, and drive meaningful economic and social impact across the Great Lakes region.
Fluent in English, French, and Swahili, I bring together practical experience, analytical rigor, and a strong understanding of African business environments.
