ORBAN TERSUGH PROFILE. Introduction. Tersugh Orban is a philanthropist, a humanitarian, who works in the humanitarian sector for over 6 years, and is competent in managing Programs/Projects, and good in MEAL and Research work in both emergency response, and developmental contexts. Orban Tersugh studied at Benue State University Makurdi, Nigeria, where he obtained a bachelor of art (BA.) degree in Linguistics in 2016. In 2017, Tersugh Joined Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) as REACH Research field assistant in Maiduguri, Borno State. Later in 2018, joined Goal Prime Organization Nigeria (GPON) as M&E Assistant in Maiduguri, Borno State, worked with Equal Access International (EAI) as Research Assistant also in Maiduguri, Borno State in the same year 2019 just 3 months. In 2020, he joined Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa) Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer where he install the MEAL structure at the organization while the organization was just starting at the time. In 2021 he was promoted to the position of programs Manager where he is currently managing the implementing department and is saddled with organizational-level managerial responsibilities as one of the key management staff and a member of the executive management team. Tersugh is highly proficient in coordinating, leading, developing, and managing the program/projects teams, managing budget, and logistics of the organization, and proficient in planning, conducting, and implementing monitoring, research, post-distribution monitoring (PDM), and Third Party Monitoring (TPM) activities in developmental, and emergency context. He is now working with Global Village Healthcare Initiative GHIV-Africa. In addition, has Masters (M.sc) in view with Federal University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).   • MEAL Officer at GHIV Africa, the role was to carry out the implementation of Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) to ensure program quality and accountability through efficient and effective collection, input, and review of information relating to GHIV Africa's Programs, I handled the responsibilities of conducting and administering field related activities to field locations. I was responsible for Designing M&E tools use for surveys and interviews for child protection, PSS, MHPSS, SRH, WASH, GBV, and livelihood interventions in Maiduguri in line with the organizational strategies, policies, and the MEAL framework as well as the project design. I worked in hand with the program/project teams to ensure standards as outlined in the organization’s MEAL framework, and the project documents to ensure implementation outcomes, project successes, and sustainability.
