About

What I do: I work in youth development, education, and technology-driven initiatives, with a focus on digital skills training, AI literacy, and community empowerment. I design and support programs that help underserved youth gain practical skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. What I’m looking for: I’m looking for collaboration, funding opportunities, mentorship, and partnerships to scale impact-driven projects in EdTech, digital inclusion, and AI-enabled learning. I’m also open to roles or fellowships where I can contribute to program design, implementation, monitoring, and impact evaluation—especially within education, public sector, and development-focused organizations.

Experience

  • I found out my coworker earns almost twice what I do for essentially the same job. I can't look at management the same way anymore. Is it possible to rebuild that trust?

Yes, trust can be rebuilt, but it depends on how management responds after the issue is raised. Discovering that a coworker earns significantly more... for essentially the same job can feel discouraging and may damage confidence in the organisation. Rather than assuming bad faith, I would request a professional conversation with my manager to better understand how pay decisions are made, whether there are differences in responsibilities, experience, or performance expectations, and whether my compensation can be reviewed. If management is transparent, listens to my concerns, and takes fair steps to address any genuine inequity, trust can gradually be restored. However, if concerns are dismissed or there is no willingness to explain or correct an unfair situation, rebuilding trust becomes much more difficult." more
