I started a job at a small logistics company and on my first day I saw I’m the only woman there. The team is all men and it feels a bit strange. Everyone is polite, helpful and friendly. But I still feel nervous. I keep waiting for something bad to happen. Do you think I’m just overthinking or is something wrong with this company?

  • There is nothing wrong you working with men. At where i work now when i was employed there were only two ladies and including myself to make us... three. the rest of the team are were all men and they are very friendly and respectful. we always work together as a team share ideas on the job All you need is to be focus, respectful and hard working lady. for i think they employed only a lady but with her confidence , respect and hard work made the company to employ ladies. more

  • It's a logistic company not skincare

  • Nothing bad can happen only expect much care only.

  • I am exhausted

  • I think you are just overthinking this. you need to work on your confidence level and see your uniqueness as an advantage and not a disadvantage. the... company's friendliness is warm enough to this. but above all strive at excellence because your uniqueness will expose both your inadequacies and competencies. I am sure you can help change the narrative for the company to give more opportunities to females. i wish you the best of luck. more

  • What if it was the opposite, everyone is rough and bad would you like it?? Appreciate that people have learnt the ethics of work and they can do... their best  more

  • You’re not wrong for noticing it, and you’re not overthinking either. Walking into a new job where you’re the only woman can naturally feel... uncomfortable at first, especially on day one when everything is still unfamiliar.

What matters most is not the number of men there, but the culture they create. If they’re respectful, supportive, and professional, that’s a strong early sign. Still, trust should be built through consistent actions over time, not first impressions alone.

    My advice would be:
✅ Give yourself time to settle in
✅ Observe how people communicate and treat each other daily
✅ Set clear boundaries and stay confident in your role
✅ Focus on why they hired you, your value and skills matter there

Sometimes our minds prepare for problems before any problem exists. Stay aware, but don’t let fear write the story too early.

You may end up becoming one of the strongest voices in that company. Wishing you success in the new role.

  • My advice is that you should not quit the job, developed a strong will power, believe in yourself, work hard, be polite and helpful as the men... are.
Note: NEVER DATE ANY OF THE GUYS.

  • How big is the team? Depending on the sector it can absolutely reflect badly on the company and its work environment if the vast majority of employees... are men, but if you enjoy the work there's nothing wrong with staying. Just be careful and don't be afraid to speak out more

  • "This candidate brings a fresh perspective to our business."
"These men are trying to rape me!"
    Get over yourself, lady.

  • For something bad to happen??? To them all or you ??? will you feel strange at home if you gave birth to only sons??? Do you even know how critical... this thought is??? Are you crazy ???
How can a human think this way. You are the only woman, so what??
Just do your job and be nice. There's nothing wrong with the company, there's definitely something wrong with you. See a pastor, pray about this. This thought is from the devil, rebuke that .
