Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
• Provide timely performance reports to various business units within the organization • Responsible for monthly recognition of revenues in line with agreed financial and management reporting frameworks • Maintaining a register of all products/services with respect to their basic description from a commercial perspective, charging mechanics on the billing systems and the accounting treatment. • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and work with other business units to ensure realization • Ensure Mobile money platform is always reconciled with the general ledger on a weekly basis • Perform accounting research for new business transactions • Closing and opening financial periods in the financial systems on a monthly basis • Review cost allocation of overheads, indirect costs and ensure it is accurate and in line with best practice and business needs • Review month end closing and reporting and identify cost trends. Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in economics or a Business-related field • ACCA, CIMA or ICAG (Final Level) • 3-4 years’ work experience in a similar role

Carry out Risk Analysis on Products
• Carry out risk analysis on products to ensure control impact has been factored. • Prepare Billing Test scenarios to be factored in the product testing and periodic testing of products.
Qualification Required & Experience

• Ensure all Electronic -money created on the electronic money platform are processed in the general ledger. • Supervise the reconciliation of restricted and unrestricted balances per platform and general ledger Supervise a three (3)-way reconciliation of platform, bank and general ledger when required. • Ensure the reconciliation of stock purchase wallet in the general ledger with the platform. • Ensure all electronic money received from dealers are recorded in the appropriate dealer account. • Ensure all Liquidations in the Stock purchase wallet and ensuring are correctly recorded in a timely manner. • Ensure reconciling items are aged and resolved within agreed SLA’s. • Follow up with Banks and relevant Stakeholders to close open issues within Agreed SLA's • Ensure the correct incoming and outgoing balances are updated in GhIPSS Recon (Platform vs GhIPSS vs. Bank) • Ensure the bank settlement details are correctly updated in GhIPSS reconciliation. • Supervise the reconciliation of receipts against relevant merchants’ receivables when payments are received. • Any other duties assigned by the line manager.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree. • Knowledge of core accounting will be an added advantage. • Minimum four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in a related/relevant field • Part Professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or ICAG • Must possess good analytical skills and knowledge of the use of analytical tools. • Good knowledge and relevant training with AML procedures within the banking sector and the MFS space

• Lead the Team to Assess risks, review and assist in the development of policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance around them. • Plans and executes internal control reviews through peer reviews and any other assessments by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations; identifying risk areas; preparing the scope and objectives. • Lead in conducting projects on awareness campaigns on the Internal Control in Ghana. • Assesses compliance with all applicable regulations by ensuring that the controls in place cover the risks assessed by the regulators. • Lead the Team to assess risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluating manual and automated financial processes; identifying process weaknesses and inefficiencies and operational issues. • Coordinate Self Assessments Campaigns, ensure timely delivery of results. • Follow up remediation of agreed actions for all audits carried out i.e., External Audit, Internal Audit findings and internal reviews like peer reviews and Self-Assessment in the processes of the ICM. • Lead the Team to Monitor the Internal Control Maturity of the company as agreed on by management around all processes. • Closely monitor internal controls around the following processes assigned to you: Sales to Collect, Human Resource, Entity Level Controls, and Legal/Regulatory. • Support the Revenue Assurance team in terms of fraud investigations and monitor fraud related communications, training and education. • Support Audit and Risk Committee, internal auditors and external auditors by coordinating information requirements. • Ad hoc requests regarding controls from CFO and management. • Continuous research to enhance the knowledge around risk management and internal control. • Ensure the monthly Audit and Risk Committee meetings with CFO occurs. • Ensure there are no pending expired reminders/alarms/controls for your section. • Ensure the quarterly Audit and Risk Committee meetings comes off with Executive Team • Deliver the Audit results for the Quarterly Key Financial Controls
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/IT. Master’s Degree in a Risk Management field will be an added advantage. • ACCA/CPA part 1 qualification. • CISA Certified • Over 5 years’ experience out of which 3 years in the telecommunications industry. • Ability to use auditing procedures and control techniques to meet control objectives. • Protects organization's reputation by keeping information confidential. • Capability to influence cross-functional teams and to build trust with team, clients, and internal departments. • Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and the dynamic industry we operate in. • Attention to detail with analytical tend of mind.

Key Responsibilities

Qualification Required & Experience
