JOB FUNCTION:

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
• Develop and lead the execution of the warehousing, inventory, and logistics strategy aligned with AT’s overall supply chain and business strategy. • Define policies, SLAs, and SOPs across logistics, warehousing, and inventory operations in line with industry standards and internal controls. • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization across the supply chain.
Warehouse Management
• Oversee the management of central and regional warehouse operations. • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all equipment and materials to prevent loss, damage, and obsolescence. • Ensure warehouse layout, space utilization, and infrastructure comply with safety and operational standards.
Inventory Control
• Lead the development and enforcement of robust inventory control procedures. • Monitor inventory levels, manage cycle counts, and ensure timely reconciliation and reporting. • Ensure stock accuracy between physical and system records (ERP/WMS) and address variances proactively.
Logistics & Distribution
• Manage the inbound and outbound movement of goods to and from AT’s facilities, including last-mile distribution to retail and regional sites. • Liaise with Customs, Freight Forwarders, and other partners to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods. • Monitor delivery schedules, fleet performance, and transportation costs, ensuring efficient and timely distribution.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with Commercial, Technical, Finance, Regulatory, and Project teams to align inventory and logistics support with operational needs. • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and warehouse partners to ensure service quality and contractual compliance.
Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of warehouse, logistics, and inventory professionals. • Define performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews. • Foster a culture of high performance, safety, compliance, and innovation.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) regulations in all logistics and warehouse operations. • Ensure adherence to internal audit, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements related to inventory and logistics.
Required Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA, MSc Supply Chain) and/or professional certification (e.g., CILT, CSCP, APICS, PMP) is an added advantage. • Minimum of 4–8 years of experience in logistics, inventory, and warehouse management, preferably in the telecommunications, FMCG, or technology sector. • Strong proficiency in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – SAP preferred. • Demonstrated experience leading distributed teams and managing cross-functional supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and monitor controls within the FA team in line with AT internal control and accounting policies as applicable. • Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are always applied in the treatment and handling of all FA issues. • Work with the business to develop business cases as part of the annual CAR process. • Ensure all CARs are submitted to Global BDS on a timely and accurate basis to avoid delays. • Provide on a regular basis, a Capex Tracking Report to facilitate management decision-making process. • Ensure documents are properly filed and archived on a timely basis and in an efficient way in accordance with company policy and statutory requirements. • Develop and maintain a robust asset register detailing updated status of all assets (including leased assets) at any point in time. • Work with the business to develop and execute assets needs, acquisition management, operational and disposal plans to ensure assets are always optimised. • Plan and execute the annual asset verification exercise, investigate and report on variances and make necessary recommendations to management to resolve discrepancies by aligning it to the FAR and General ledger. • Ensure assets are always tagged with unique ID numbers. • Prepare a monthly reconciliation with supporting schedules of the FAR to the relevant general ledgers and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis. • Lead the period end close process from the Fixed Asset Management side, ensuring an accurate and timely reporting of all transactions as well as commentary on all variances . • Support the Financial planning team during budget and forecasting processes. • Ensure adequate processes are established to monitor spares and capital work-in-progress (CWIP) items. • Ensure ageing spares and CWIP items are investigated on timely basis escalated to management to mitigate any future exposures. • Ensure all FA accounting bookings are done on a timely and accurate basis. • Work with Financial Reporting team to ensure all accounting treatment for FA items are always consistent with the Airtel Tigo policy and IFRS. • Drive process improvement by working closely with all stakeholders to evaluate current processes and procedures, recommend new practices, procedures and systems to improve operating efficiencies and internal controls. • Assist in the Company’s annual audit with the external auditors. • Assisting in various departmental projects. • Ensure the team is kept motivated and always engaged and that succession plans exist for all key roles.
Required Qualification and Experience

• Responsible and accountable for the implementation and management of company strategies and plans in the area under his or her supervision. • Responsible for the achievement of distribution and Acquisition targets under his or her area of supervision. • Responsible for subscriber acquisition through Points of Acquisitions (POAs) within his or her assigned territory. • Responsible and accountable for the leadership, training and coaching of personnel under his or her direct supervision. • Manage and train POAs on activation processes. • Maintain and grow active productive POAs base in assigned area. • Ensure adequate availability of sim and scratch cards at all POAs and POSs • Promptly communicate activation targets, promotions, product, and commissions structure to all POAs • Identify Market and Trade opportunities. • Gather Market Intelligence and feedback to RSM. • Plans, executes and feedback BTL (Below-The-Line) activities with external agencies. • Work in the market on the route per Salesman or AAD minimum twice monthly. • Review daily performance by route with each salesman and or AAD in his team. This should be measured against the agreed route plan. • Ensure the correct visibility and display of products in all outlets as per the company’s agreed standards. • Plan and execute all forms of Agent fora to ensure retailers have good product knowledge.

Required Qualification and Experience
• A university degree in any field or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Studies, or other related fields. • A minimum of two (2) year experience in a Sales and Distribution role and operation experience preferable in FMCG. • Proficiency in IT software’s such as Microsoft Office, Distribution Management Systems, etc. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written English is essential. • Good organizational and time management skills • Must have execution and reporting skills. • Must be licensed to drive and with clean driver’s license/record.

Job Summary
• The successful candidate will join as an AT Money transaction officer in the Finance Department. (S)He will report to the Senior AT reconciliation officer. • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electronic money created on the platform is accurately recorded in the general ledger.
Key Responsibilities
• Process all electronic money created on... the electronic-money platform in the General ledger. • Analyze platform reports for data integrity and advise for corrections where necessary. • Ensure all transactions and movements on the Platform are reconciled each day end. • Ensure the correct incoming and outgoing balances are updated in GhIPSS Recon (Platform vs GhIPSS vs. Bank) • Ensure the bank settlement details are correctly updated in GhIPSS Reconciliation • Process all GHIPPS transactions as per daily GHIPSS reconciliations (Platform vs GhIPSS vs Bank) in the general ledger • Accrue all streams of revenue for the AT Money Business • Reconcile and match receipts against relevant merchants’ receivables when payments are received.
Required Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of core accounting will be an added advantage. • Minimum two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a related/relevant field • Part Professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or ICAG • Must possess good analytical skills and knowledge of the use of analytical tools.
