• MBA or equivalent in job relevant subject • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, international relations, public health, environmental science or a related field • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar executive or senior administrative support role • Demonstrated experience in a non-profit, humanitarian or development organization, with direct involvement or a good understanding of WASH programmes, would be an advantage • Proven experience working in a Ghanaian or African context, with an understanding of the socio-political and cultural dynamic of the sector

• Organisational and Time management exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Communication, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and reports in English • Interpersonal skills: A high degree of diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality, ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. • Technical proficiency: Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a willingness to learn new software and tools • Initiative and problem-solving, a proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues independently • Sector knowledge, a good understanding of the WASH sector. SDGs, including key challenges in Africa (e.g climate change water scarcity and sanitation access), programme methodologies and monitoring and evaluation practices • Values: A strong commitment to the IRC's mission and values, with an understanding of gender equity and cultural sensitivity in programme delivery
Contract Period

Key Responsibilities
