Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership in project development and implementation • Manage and coordinate projects with partners • Provide content expertise/leadership for water, sanitation and hygiene service delivery • Oversee smooth implementation of short to medium term projects in accordance with their respective planning, approaches and timelines • Coordinate field activities, monitor project outcomes and track impact at district and sector level • Support the IRC Ghana business development for fund raising and new projects acquisition • Support research / studies, learning and communication • Support IRC thematic reporting
Qualification Required & Experience
General Requirements and knowledge / Experience
• Minimum of bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant professional experience, a Master's degree will be an added advantage • Good basic knowledge and understanding of the main concepts and trends in the water, situation and hygiene (WASH) sector. • Relevant experience of research (design, data analysis and reporting writing) and policy analysis • Demonstrate experience in learning, knowledge management and networking • Proven field work coordination experience • Fluent in English and preferable one local language spoken in the Ahafo Region and good writing skills • Willing to work in a district and travel nationally and internationally • Experience in working in a district is an added advantage • Understanding of project management will be an added advantage • Proven project management experience
Contract Period:
• The candidate will initially be offered a one-year contract including six-month's probation. The contract is renewable subject to good performance and availability of funds
