Strategic & Program Execution


Collaborate with the Academy team on strategic planning, design and execution of Shamiri’s training roadmap.
Oversee the rollout, and coordination of training courses (masterclasses, workshops, certificate programs and Diploma).
Support the onboarding of internal teams, partners, and learners into Shamiri’s learning... ecosystem.


Training Materials Oversight & Quality Assurance


Oversee the development, refinement, and updating of training materials, ensuring they meet pedagogical standards and are contextually appropriate.
Conduct periodic quality assurance reviews of content and delivery methods.


LMS Administration (Talent LMS)


Manage and update the Talent LMS, including uploading content, revising modules, managing user accounts, and administering assessments.
Troubleshoot LMS issues to ensure smooth user experiences.


Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting


Track participant progress, attendance, engagement, and completion rates.
Analyze feedback and training metrics to generate actionable insights and comprehensive reports.
Implement QA processes to ensure training effectiveness and consistency.


Stakeholder Engagement


Serve as the primary liaison between Shamiri Academy and partner organizations, field teams, and learners.
Coordinate with hub coordinators, fellows, supervisors, and external partners to facilitate training rollout and follow-up.


Government & Regulatory Engagement


Act as the key liaison with government bodies such as TVET CDACC, TVETA, and other relevant institutions during the accreditation and rollout of programs.
Proactively coordinate communication, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the alignment of Shamiri’s programs with national education and training standards.


Logistics & Documentation


Maintain an organized repository of training materials, session recordings, and reports.
Support scheduling and resource management for training-related activities.


Professional Growth & Institutional Learning


Stay up-to-date with evolving trends in mental health education, digital learning, and youth development.
Participate in relevant workshops, mentorship programs, and capacity-building initiatives.

Oversight of leave and payroll systems:  
Onboard all employees onto the WinguBox platform. 
Provide personalized training sessions for employees on how to effectively use WinguBox for leave application and viewing their pay slips.
Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting and technical support regarding the platform.
Share P9 forms with all employees once the calendar year is over.

 Employee Records Management, Compliance and Policies 


Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations, updating policies as needed. 
Working with the Operations team to maintain accurate employee records. Including the following responsibilities: 
Gather, verify, and securely store all employee contracts. 
Maintain up-to-date records of staff personal details including next-of-kin details. 
Implement a robust filing system (digital and physical) for easy retrieval and confidentiality compliance. 
Conduct periodic audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with best practices and legal standards. 
Develop HR metrics and dashboards to track employee satisfaction, turnover rates and recruitment effectiveness.  
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to support workforce planning and decision-making.

Medical Insurance Management 


Conduct thorough research to identify and recommend a suitable medical insurance provider that aligns with the organization’s needs and budget.  
Coordinating the onboarding of all employees to the selected medical insurance scheme, ensuring a smooth transition and clear communication.  
Act as a primary liaison between the medical insurance provider and the organization.  
Assist employees with claim submissions, inquiries and issue resolution related to insurance.  
Schedule and facilitate periodic reviews with the insurance provider to assess performance and make necessary adjustments.  
Employee wellness and benefits education:  
Organize workshops or Q&A sessions to educate employees on the scope of their medical benefits, claim processes and preventive healthcare practices. 
Continuously seek feedback from employees regarding the insurance provider’s services to address gaps and ensure satisfaction. 


Qualifications and Experience 


Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. 
2+ years of experience in human resource, employee management, recruitment, program support roles or organizational culture roles. 
Strong understanding of labour laws and best practices in people management.  
Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.

Roles and responsibilities:
Strategic communication:
