A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Insurance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a related discipline.
Experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on claims management and policy administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to... assess cases and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for effective engagement with insurers, clients, and healthcare providers.
A solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes to ensure accurate claim assessments.

Qualifications

Bsc. Actuarial Science.
At least five Actuarial Professional Papers.
Msc (Actuarial Management)- An added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience.

Duties

Handling claims for retail clients in liaison with the Claims Officer.
Daily updates to clients on claims status.
Escalation of claims after 48 hours.
Preparing Garage Lists for clients.
Preparation of How to Claim Documents.
Follow up with loss adjusters.
Rating Garages – auditing them.
Linkages with Rescue companies.
Engaging Digital Team on Automation.
Engaging Social Media... team on How to claim.
Implementing and executing claims according to the company’s claims procedure guidelines.
Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with clients.
Following up on active claims with Service Providers to ensure timely settlement of the claims.
Sitting in place of the Claims Officer as necessitated.

1+ years’ experience in insurance.
Claims experience is an added advantage.
Analytical skills and proficiency in working with excel.
Good knowledge of insurance products.

Duties

Negotiating and securing the most appropriate coverage based upon client needs for new and renewal business and negotiating best price for those coverages.
New business acquisition and retention.
Preparation of pitch presentations to potential clients.
Data analysis interpretations  and reporting.
Cross selling products to potential customers.
Provision of reports based on clients... claims data.
Provision of scheme performance reports and gap analysis on the existing client’s portfolio.
Ensuring continuous communication between underwriters and clients via email, telephone etc.
Liaise with other departments to ensure efficiency in regard to customer needs.
Keeping clients informed on our existing and new products.
Perform any other duties as assigned and in line with the task.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
2+ years experience in insurance.
Analytical skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Good knowledge of insurance products.
