  • Assists the Pharmacist as drug logistics focal person for the field office.
  • Assists the Pharmacist in Scheduling ART and OIs medication orders for clients including refills for PrEP
  • Supports documenting clinical and demographic patient information.
  • Assists in the coordination of pharmacy budgeting, planning, forecasting, procurement and supply of pharmaceuticals.
  • Inventory management at OSS level, and monitoring if consumption rate to avoid stock out.
  • Serve as a member of the clinical team who are saddled with ART initiation including Mobile ART.
  • Supports the Pharmacist to liaise with State (LMCU) and PEPFAR IPs drugs logistics system to ensure adequate and timely supply of ARV s and other medications to the OSS.
  • Inventory control at the OSS level, of commodities and drugs, such as receiving, confirming and storage according to standard.
  • Ensures efficient processing of new ART client medication orders and reorders. This includes verifying/re verifying new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system including but not limited to the MONTHLY STOCK STATUS REPORT and CRRIFF for the OSS.
  • Provide counseling on ART side effects, identification and reporting of adverse drug reaction (ADR)
  • Ensure proper documentation of drug utilization using stipulated tools and timely submission of pharmaceutical reports
  • Provide adherence counselling, client tracking and retention activities
  • Support care and support interventions at the OSS and community level
  • In Conjunction with the Logistics Officer, serve as point of contact for logistical needs in the office
  • Maintain and update the list of assets for the organization for asset insurance purposes
  • Assist the Logistics Officer to plan, support and implement an efficient logistics and supply chain management system for HAI in accordance with donor requirements and stipulated guidelines of the Federal Government of Nigeria
  • This position will assist in procurement of commodities, from market research and supplier identification to logistics and post-procurement support, warehousing, distribution, utilization and reporting
  • Assist with ensuring the adequate security of HA offices buildings at all times Manage the materials for trainings
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
