Work experience
  •  Conduct field-level technical assessments in coordination with the FSL Coordinator, ensuring assessment findings are documented and that all assessments include a specific analysis of children’s needs.
  •  Ensures high-quality cash transfer programming in line with generally accepted standards,
  •  Provide support during the operation and implementation of cash transfer programming.
  •  Monitor redemption process in vendor’s shops.
  •  Participants in conducting post-distribution monitoring (PDM) and market price monitoring (MPM).
  •  Actively participates in targeting, registration, and card distribution
  •  Mobilize and sensitize project participants every month before every redemption.
  •  Coallate and prepare an effective record and filing system for all distribution data, registers, and records including correspondences and other related documents for quick and easy reference.
  •  Report any issue that needs immediate action to the MPCA Officer and Field Coordinator and follow up on the resolution of such issues.
  •  Conduct verification and screening of the non-beneficiaries who want to be included in the program.
  •  Supervising Field Assistants and Community volunteers at the field level
  •  Conduct verification of beneficiaries at the distribution point, ensuring that rations are distributed only to the entitled and registered beneficiaries.
  •  Conduct registration of new beneficiaries, ensuring accountability by checking the documentation provided by the beneficiary and by issuing accurate ration cards.
  •  Participate in the fieldwork of surveys, Baselines, Mid-term Reviews, and end line.
  •  Conduct and facilitate the distribution of NFIs to vulnerable assessed individuals
  •  Support field supervisors and assist in sensitizations and community-level engagements.
  •  Support identifying any gaps or capacity needs within the team and ensure training and capacity building are incorporated into program planning.
  •  Contribute to communications and media work as required through correction of data and information and sharing with the project heads, especially success stories.
  •  Conduct and facilitate community entry and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability
  •  Work closely with the FSL Coordinator and/or other senior program staff, support timely program and donor reports on project
  •  Support inter-sectoral integration of project interventions and support gender mainstreaming and social protection inclusion in programming.
  •  Record feedback from the beneficiaries and their families to be considered in project design/implementation
  •  Ensure that the minimum standards of humanitarian relief are maintained under the Sphere Charter and Red Cross Code of Conduct.
  •  Support field supervisors and assistants in conducting beneficiaries’ livelihood needs assessment, and records and report to the project line manager on a timely basis.
  •  Supervise and monitor the progress of food security and livelihood activities and report timely to the FSL coordinator.
  •  Facilitate capacity development training, on-the-job coaching, and mentorship of field assistants at field levels.
  •  Adhere and operate based on core humanitarian Principles.
  •  Ensure all supervisors and field assistants adhere to COVID-19 safety measures as laid down by NCDC during field activities.
  •  Ensure that all supervisors and field assistants dress appropriately; visibility jackets should be worn always while in the field.
  •  Any other responsibilities that may be assigned.
