    It's interesting how much the HR/Employer side of the table complains about candidates lacking interview preparation without realizing that, perhaps,... the issue is likely their own lack of preparation. Are the responses to those questions you got from AI ten minutes before the interview really going to tell you anything about the candidate's suitability for the role? Are YOU dressed appropriately for a job interview? Have you and the rest of your (unnecessary) panel coordinated your questions so that you're not asking different versions of the same questions? Not all candidates are the same. Where a blanket list of generic questions asked in a Q&A format might be suitable for entry-level positions that require little or no experience, hiring for a higher-level role that requires a certain amount of experience or specific skills means you're looking for a different type of candidate, and your interview ought to focus on how the candidate will approach the challenges of the role.  more
