Monitoring and Evaluation - Ability to ensure monitoring and evaluation activities, ensuring effective programming in terms of evidence, knowledge of log frame design. - Ability to plan and implement community engagement and community dialogue. - Experience working in insecure/emergency environments. -Strict observer of ethical issues and professionalism in research processes, surveys. -Experience working/Design with data collection tools such as KOBO COLLECT,ODK. Computer Literacy: - -Excellent skills with Microsoft packages as well as data analysis packages such as ENA, ISY STOCK, SPSS, SAS, STATA, EXCEL, basic R. -Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office suite, MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Emailing, Internet, Internet Research and SPSS Skills; Management of Subordinate Staff - Experience in recruitment, interviewing, supporting, training as well as managing subordinate staff. - Attentive to details, accurate and a keen observer. -Highly organized with good time management skills and good communication skills. Team Player/Management -Experience in working with monitoring and evaluation teams, excellent team working skills, good organizational and social skills. -Creating and sustaining a work environment of mutual respect where team members strive to achieve excellence. -Helping team members identify problem-solving options and ensure the integration of all team members into relevant decision-making processes. - Core competency in managing people and projects. Language Skills - Possess good communication skills both spoken and written in English and in Hausa, kanuri languages.
