Seeking Investment for Indian Agricultural Product Export Venture My name is Raju Kumar, and I am based in India. With years of experience as a freelance translator and owner of a translation agency, I am now pivoting my career to explore new opportunities in the export of Indian agricultural products. I possess a strong business plan and an extensive network of suppliers for fresh vegetables (onions, ginger, chilies), fruits, and rice (Basmati and non-Basmati). The primary challenge I face is a lack of funding, which is critical for bridging the gap between Indian suppliers and international buyers. Many importers in Gulf countries do not adhere to standard international payment terms, such as providing upfront payments or letters of credit. This creates a significant hurdle, as Indian suppliers typically require full payment before releasing goods. To overcome this, I am actively seeking private investors to help launch this export business. I am confident that once the business is operational and demonstrates success, banks and other financial institutions will be more willing to provide financing in the future. I am also exploring the possibility of establishing an import company in Dubai. This would provide an alternative sales channel for my products, working with commission agents and creating a more stable and direct pathway to market. Securing funding is also essential for this parallel venture. I am looking for partners who are interested in either investing in my export business or co-founding a company in Dubai.
