am Rushimabahizi Omar, a passionate and motivated individual with a background in History, Economics, and Geography and a diverse skill set that spans business management, public speaking, emotional management, and intergenerational dialogue. Over the years, I've overcome significant challenges, particularly growing up in the Mahama Refugee Camp in Rwanda, and have turned those experiences into a driving force for positive change in my community.
As a leader and educator, I have been honored to work with a range of organizations, including Ndabaga Impact where I serve as a mentor. My expertise in leadership, mentorship, and community development has allowed me to create impactful projects like founding the "Speak English as Native" club, which helped fellow refugees improve their English proficiency and gain confidence.
Currently, I serve as a Coordinator and English Teacher at CED Company, where I work with displaced individuals to empower them through education. In addition, I provide communication strategies and wellness support as a Communication and Wellness Officer for the Federation of Africa TAF, and contribute to data annotation as an Annotator with Humans in the Loop.
My journey has been shaped by a strong commitment to social impact and community empowerment, which has led me to specialize in leadership training, emotional intelligence, public speaking, and AI training. I’ve also gained proficiency in remote team communication, digital fluency, and curriculum development.
I thrive in multicultural environments, where I can bring diverse perspectives together to create impactful solutions. Always eager to learn and grow, I seek opportunities that allow me to leverage my skills in leadership, education, and technology to continue making a difference.
