  • Daily operations of a functional area within the Plant Finished goods warehouse, including workload planning and effectively executing operational objectives.
  • Create and/or ensure daily workload plans that meet the needs of the business and deliver best-in-class service to our customers.
  • Communicate department updates to the National customer service manager. This includes daily staffing and workload updates, along with providing data and explanations for weekly/monthly department performance.
  • Consistently challenge the status quo and look for better ways to operate, enrolling and collaborating with my team in the process.
  • Provide coaching and performance management to Team Leads and associates. This includes holding the team accountable to department standards, writing performance reviews, progressive discipline, and on-boarding and off-boarding of associates.
  • Ensure the department has accurate and documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for job functions. Make sure associates are being held accountable for following the SOPs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department and ensure an ongoing and successful 5S Lean program.
  • Create a motivational and supportive environment in which employees are challenged, coached, trained, and provided with career opportunities; build a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work in an environment where deadlines are very short and able to adapt very quickly to the needs of the business. Make quick decisions and solving problems to ensure the smooth running of the Plant distribution warehouse
