I currently serve as a Center Manager Support under the Ajira Digital Program, where I mobilize and train youth to embrace digital skills, support center operations, and connect my community to online work opportunities. My passion lies in empowering young people through technology and sustainable livelihoods.   • My duties in summary include overseeing the operations and management of the Uwezo Fund, which is a Kenyan government initiative aimed at promoting youth and women's economic empowerment through funding and support for various projects. I also engage with various stakeholders, including government officials, the private sector, and civil society organizations, to foster collaboration and support for the Uwezo Fund.
  • Accomplishments:
  • 1. Increased Access to Finance: We have been able to increased access to finance for youth and women entrepreneurs, leading to the creation and growth of small businesses and income generation.
  • 2. Enhanced Project Impact: Improved oversight and evaluation of funded projects may have led to higher success rates and a greater positive impact on beneficiaries' livelihoods.
  • 3. Policy Reforms: The Chairperson's leadership may have influenced positive policy changes that made the fund's operations more efficient and effective.
  • Transparency and Accountability: I have been able to increased transparency in the fund's operations, making it easier to track the allocation and utilization of funds.
  • 4. Stakeholder Engagement: Successful engagement with various stakeholders such as AMPATH, Ministry of Agriculture, and has resulted in partnerships and collaborations that has expanded the fund's reach and impact.
