    I agree Andrea. I am not saying that scenario is wrong or right, but only commenting based on my longtime experience. We should all have to put our... time in, however, it does seem that there is a some sense of entitlement among those that haven't been at jobs long. I remember in my earlier days, volunteering to take shifts and holidays for those who had families because it was respect for the time that they had deposited to the company and I knew I wanted a family one day. I received valuable connections and meaningful wisdom, that helped me along in my career. Not all, but it seems alot of people don't value those connections anymore, and are more self serving these days. Also, keep in mind that having a family changes the dynamic of how you work. For example everyone may get the same 2 weeks of PTO, but most workers with family have to take into account for potentially using that time for EVERY FAMILY MEMBER, not just themselves.
