The Primary focus was to provide technical support in form of capacity strengthening and building programs, projects and activities related to psychosocial support. Technical support to Civil Society Organizations under United Nations Trust Fund (UNTF) “Speak it Loud” End Violence
Against Women and Girls.
Key Responsibilities:
Improved the relationship between Civil society and Government by working with various Government departments including VFU and Ministry of Health in collaboration to provide SRH services to survivors of Gender Based Violence.
Conducted training of trainers (ToT) in Training and capacity building of 180/215 (84%) staff and volunteers, caregivers and community leaders working in the UNTF project.
Conducted training, supervision and mentorship in the provision of basic psychosocial support interventions, which was extended to hard-to-reach areas such as Mzarabani and Mbire.
For effective interventions managed to review partners GBV Case Management approach and oversee its implementation. Therefore, increased the effectiveness and increase the number of project beneficiaries by 25%.
Provided technical advice to the primary actors, local partners and other stakeholders in the development of messages and strategies to improve awareness of SRHR services and promote access to these services in a timely manner.
Worked with Ministry of Youths, Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service conducting key trainings and workshops on prevention of Drug and substance abuse and Sexual Reproductive Health Services.

The Primary focus was to provide psychosocial support to survivors of Sexual and Gender Based Violence. Services provided in form of telephone/online counseling, group therapy and community awareness campaigns. Worked with Plan International under the Girls SRHR program.
Key Responsibilities:
Provided one on one and psycho-social support to child survivors of abuse, young women affected by gender-based violence and their significant others. 86% of project beneficiaries were provided with the services improving their emotional wellbeing.
Facilitated educational Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) Trainings and workshops including awareness campaigns to adolescent girls, young women, adolescent boys and young men aged 10-24years in Schools and Growth Points increasing project reach by 40%
Worked closely with the relevant governments departments in following up on reports received on child abuse, gender-based violence to ensure justice delivery improving relationships between NGO and Government.
Raised awareness in communities using social media platforms on issues of child protection and gender-based violence, and access to SRHR services improving methods of access to project stakeholders.
Maintained accurate records of services provided, submit monthly, quarterly and annual narrative and statistical reports. Making easy track for Monitoring and Evaluation
Reached 66% of the project beneficiaries who were survivors of GBV through Therapeutic Support Group which helped them overcome traumatic experiences and realize their potentials.
Engaged Caregivers through facilitation of Positive Parenting Sessions, thereby improving relationships between caregivers and children in communities.
