  • Ensure quality of nutrition screening for children under-5 conducted by Community Nutrition Mobilizers in target Communities.
  • Ensure correctness, consistence, and completeness of the information in the nutrition registers.
  • Ensure adequate availability of all medical and food supplies and ensure stock is pre-positioned as planned by discussing with logistics.
  • Participate in Beneficiaries selection and registration including Baseline, Mid-line Survey and end of Project Evaluation for the project as per project design and within the project implementation deadline.
  • Ensure program approaches and implementation are sensitive to cultural and gender dynamics.
  • Participate in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual highlights/ reports and proposals and budgets for donors when needed.
  • Proomte and increase awareness of appropriate health and nutrition activities, key Nutrition education messages to beneficiaries based on the protocols and guidelines during sensitization.
  • Conduct follow-up monitoring of nutrition-related activities and document findings to feed into improved programming, Carried out active case findings and implementing a comprehensive follow-up.
  • Follow up, inspect and ensure project materials are delivered as per specified measurements at field level in a timely way, and follow up those not delivered as per requisition.
  • Working in harmony with all other project staff and field team for the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the NUTRITION activities.
  • Provide counselling on nutrition and hygiene practices to beneficiaries especially care givers coordinate community mobilization and sensitization of community on NUTRITION activities.
  • Carryout follow-up visits to households in which cases of MAM and SAM are identified.
  • Ensure escort services for all severely malnourished children to the OTP center
  • Participate in field work of the nutrition survey (impact assessment), Assist in conducting surveys in the communities and participate in nutrition surveys done at the Community level ( KAP, SMART, Causal Analysis, Barriers, Coverage).including Focus Group Discussion.
  • Conduct key Behavioral change messaging to community members especially pregnant and lactating women. Conduct house-to-house MUAC screening of children under the age of 6 – 59 months;
  • Prepare project documentation including monthly project reports.
