Key Responsibilities
Ensure in line production quality of packaged product is strictly adhered to.
Comply with all current good laboratory practices (cGLP), good manufacturing practices (cGMP), Unilever requirements and testing methods, and applicable government/authority regulations.
Ensure material safety data sheet (MSDS) for chemicals and reagents used in the laboratory are readily available and documented.
Work together with Research and Development team during product development and improvement trials.
Comply with site in-take program for raw and packaging materials and documents results/information as required in designated system.
Carry out internal audits in various areas within the site.
Carry out timely physical and chemical analysis of product according to the laid-out Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Monitor dust levels within the homecare factory by measuring using the galley sampler unit.
Participate In root cause analysis for product that are out of specification.
Train shopfloor personnel on SOPs, GMP and changes on quality documentation.
Enter quality data and information to designated system where test results, audit findings and other data are preserved.
Use SAP system to release finished product and raw materials.
Participate in trade visits to pick out quality related complaints and customer feedback on products.
Ensure cleanliness and 5S is always maintained in the laboratory and production floor.
Monitor fill control for label weight/volume declarations and record related quality data in designated system.
Perform procedures and documents results of checks and verifications that are required as part of site-wide program of calibration and maintenance of inspection, measuring and testing equipment.
Pick and store retention samples in the retention room.
Pick samples and send to main lab for microbial and enzyme analysis.
Prepare daily handover shift report.

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & QA:
Responsible for in line production quality, from raw materials to the packaged product.
Ensure compliance to good laboratory practice and good manufacturing practices(cGMP).
Carry out lab analysis using analytical instruments such as Gas Chromatography (GC) for analysis of diacetyl and UV-Vis Spectrophotometer in measuring color of product, centrifuge to separate beer components.
Ensuring hygiene, sanitation and safety standards are adhered to in the laboratory and on the production floor.
Ensure the lab equipment across all laboratories is fully functional and organize for repair in case of breakdown.
Carry out CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilization in place) for tanks and equipment used in production.
Release and block products in SAP.
Continuous Improvement & Assessment Tools:
Drive continuous improvement assessment, such as, pack dress defects reduction.
Calibration and verification of the laboratory equipment and preparation of laboratory reagents.

Reporting:
Timely reporting of results of analysis and do root cause in case of deviations in the process and in the results when out of specification.
