    This is crazy advice! Marriage is sacred. If the shoe were on the other foot would you advice a man to leave his wife? No. I'm a woman. Sometimes it's... deeper than the surface. He needs counseling and probably for her to stop nagging him and support him. She's not his mother shes his wife. And if SHE doesn't have it in her to be the peace and reassurance he needs right now, she should have the convo with him. Sometimes marriage requires one to support the other for a while as God dies a work for THEIR benefit.

    To author: No, getting more education sometimes solves nothing unless his current degree is in a field that's almost obsolete or highly competitive. Also, some don't believe, but age plays a HUGE factor in employment although it should not. Maybe utilize AI to better his resume to get past the algorithm. Lastly, what also may influence the struggle is some jobs are prevalent in certain areas over others. I live in a military, medical, construction, and trucking area. Outside of those fields your options are limited to small retail or restaurants. So, check what's in your area. Maybe help him setup his own LLC, then market by networking. just don't cancel your marriage because of hard times. The reward is GREAT when you fight through TOGETHER!
