Top tip from a person who knows a lot about Sales… you’re not selling yourself. You’re selling something else entirely to your customers; is it the... experience of feeling glamorous when they look at their wedding photos? Is it peace of mind to relax and enjoy their swing, knowing you’re going to deliver the goods to their social media team in time for Monday mornings post corporate golf event?
Think of it like retail goods…
You and your equipment are the manufacturing/distribution/logistics, your photos are your saleable product; but what you’re selling to your customers is not the product… the product itself is the solution to your customers PROBLEM.
Understand what problem you’re solving for them and how you’re solving it; and THATS what you sell…

And you do it by using a script a bit like
“imagine x and how you’re going to feel when y happens”
Then tell them what you’re worth and don’t be shy about it. Undervalue yourself and they undervalue your work.  more
