Kakeeto Augustine –OFS and Lawyer is a dedicated and active Lay Franciscan, consistently demonstrating a deep commitment to living out the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi within their daily life. He embody the Franciscan charism through humble service, joyful simplicity, compassionate outreach, commitment to peace and love for creation. He actively participates in community service initiatives and consistently seeks opportunities for spiritual growth and formation. He is a valuable asset to both the Secular Franciscan Order and the wider Church plus Government. I wholeheartedly recommend Kakeeto for his tireless dedication and profound impact as a human rights activist in Uganda. For many years, he has been a pivotal force in promoting and defending human rights, particularly through the crucial work of educating younger generations. He has consistently gone above and beyond, empowering countless young people to study and understand human rights principles in various institutions across Uganda.
