I am a passionate and proactive Human Resource Management finalist awaiting graduation in December from Kenyatta University, currently seeking internship, training, assistant, or entry level opportunities in HR. I recently completed a hands on industrial attachment at Bidco Africa Limited, where I gained valuable experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR documentation and file management. I’m eager to apply my skills in a dynamic organization, contribute to impactful HR processes and continue learning and growing in the profession.

  • I had the privilege of doing my 3 months industrial attachment for a period between 15th April – 21st Jul where I:
  • Onboarded and inducted over 20 new attachees and at least 3 hires( weekly) across various departments.
  • Opened and updated 800+ employee files; ensured accurate documentation and filing.
  • Supported recruitment by contacting shortlisted candidates and sorting applicant documents.
  • Handled leave documentation (annual, sick, maternity, paternity, unpaid, etc.) and maintained leave records.
  • Filed appraisal forms, contracts, disciplinary records, and clearance forms.
  • Participated in employee engagement activities by posting internal policy updates.
  • Observed 3 disciplinary hearings and learned HR compliance procedures.
  • Archived closed files after final dues settlement and organized them by file number.
  • Performed daily HR admin tasks which involved photocopying, scanning and printing.

I was also able to get an opportunity to do my three months industrial attachment at Bidco Africa Limited where I put my theoretical knowledge into practice and gained practical skills in HR documentation, file management and administrative support.
