I am pro-active, results orientated, thorough and highly flexible practicing epidemiologist and medical doctor with attention to detail. I have previously worked as a Research Scientist at MRC/UVRI & LSHTM Uganda Research Unit, with more more than 14 years of experience in clinical research. My experience is mainly leading successful therapeutic and vaccine trials. I am currently a co-investigator in the conduct of an observation study investigating humoral and cellular immune responses among recently infected Rift Valley Fever (RVF) survivors. I have previously participated/ or led the conduct of six therapeutic/vaccine trials including four phase 3 trials and two phase 1 and 2 trials. In 2003, I graduated with a bachelors degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) Uganda. In November 2007 and November 2010 I completed a post-graduate diploma in Epidemiology and a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology at University of London respectively. I have also completed research related courses of GCP, HSP, statistics and project management. My research interest include the epidemiology of infectious diseases mainly Malaria, tuberculosis and HIV and vaccinology of infectious diseases mainly haemorrhagic viruses
