My coworker is always borrowing money from people until payday. The amounts are small, but he does it all the time. Sometimes he even borrows money from one coworker to pay back another. I never kept track of exactly how much I lent him or how much he paid back, but I got sick of it and finally said no when he asked again.
Since then, he's been talking badly about me to other coworkers and spreading rumors. I don't know how to end this situation. Is there a way to get him to leave me alone and stop bothering me?
