The situation is all over. Just adjust to the environment and ignore the ignorable and work

Don’t let their emotions and foolishness impact your paper. If you are feeling harassed, that’s why HR is there. I always try to give courtesy before... going to HR and address it directly with documentation and follow up. Most of the time if it’s rumors I couldn’t care less. Keep it moving.  more

Use a mediator within your place of work.

There are people who live beyond their means, and they sustain it by cycles of borrowing, at time defaulting on payment. If you want to help the... person out of it, they should be referred for counselling. Otherwise, just make sure not among the people who are sustaining the habit by lending him. You can also alert other people about it. more

I totally agree with Mitchell Brooks. Once the chatter doesn't affect you, your ability to work and your safety then ignore him and anyone who pays... attention to gossip. I understand that it doesn't feel nice to be talked about but remember you can't control how people act but you can control how you respond. So respond with class and ignore them. Never give people the satisfaction to see you worried about their behaviour towards you and finally find people that truly value you and let your relationship with those who value you be more important to you.
