Job Description

Head, Information Technology at Alert Microfinance Bank is a critical role and the idea candidate will be responsible to oversee the organization-wide systems and information.
The role involves maintaining the day-to-day operational stability and security of IT software and hardware.

Product Management:

Oversee the operational configuration of existing banking software (BankOne)
Manage relationship with external software vendors
Design promotional materials and management of company website
Establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by management
Develop and interpret organizational Information technology policies, and procedures.

Hardware and Software Resources:

Manage all hardware and software installations and faults across branch
Management of IT facilities and equipment’s to ensure steady uptime of IT resource in the organization
Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
Provide users with technical support for computer problems.

Networking:

Monitor and install LAN/Wireless Networks, Implementation configuration and administration of systems on the network.
Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software.

Security:

Implementation and enforcement of IT security policies
Ensure security of Web ,mobile applications and network resources
Manage backup, security and user help systems
Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.
Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software.

Requirements

Minimum of B.Sc or HND in a related role.
Minimum of 5 years Cognate experience in a Microfinance Bank as Head of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is a MUST.
Extensive experience with the use of BankOne Software and excellent networking skill
Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Demonstrates ability to identify problems.

Very proficient with the use of BankOne Software.
