Job Summary
• Define hiring needs – Work with employers and hiring managers to clarify role requirements, head-count budgets, and timelines. • Source candidates – Search databases, LinkedIn, professional groups, job boards, universities, and referrals to build a pipeline. • Screen & shortlist – Review CVs, run phone/video screens, assess skills, cultural fit, salary expectations, and eligibility to work. • Coordinate the interview process – Schedule interviews, prep both candidates and interviewers, gather feedback, and keep things on track. • Facilitate assessments & background checks – Arrange technical tests, psychometrics, references, and vetting where required. • Communicate & nurture relationships – Keep candidates informed, manage expectations, and maintain a talent pool for future roles. • Negotiate offers – Present offers, mediate salary/benefit discussions, handle counter-offers, and secure acceptances. • Onboard or handoff – Ensure a smooth transition to HR/line managers, share candidate docs, and sometimes assist with orientation. • Track metrics & compliance – Maintain ATS records, report on time-to-hire, diversity goals, cost per hire, and follow labour-law/ data-privacy rules. • Employer-branding & market insight – Craft job ads, promote the company at career fairs or online, and advise on market salary trends.
QUALIFICATION:
Educational Background
• A degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is often preferred. Strong Communication Skills, Good Interpersonal and Networking Skills • The ability to build and maintain relationships is essential for identifying and attracting top talent.
