About USAID Project:

Work with program and district/site teams toward strengthening the hub/hub network for sample and result transport / referral for Viral Load, EID PCR, CD4, sputum, serology and chemistry within acceptable Turn Around Times (TATs).
Work plan & work with Program officers and their respective district hub coordinators in skilling district/site-based laboratory teams in provision of quality comprehensive HIV/TB laboratory services, commodity management and quality assurance
Work closely with the logistics/Supply chain Advisor to ensure accurate, complete laboratory orders and timely redistributions within the supported facilities/districts.
Collaborate with the locum program officers to conduct laboratory systems related quality controls, namely quality control inspections and high-quality documentation of lab processes across the supported laboratories.
Monitor the implementation of Laboratory accreditation processes and WHO AFRO SLMTA accreditation standards.
Monitor equipment functionality including periodic service, maintenance and repair
Monitor Biosafety and waste management practices in laboratories, and institute measures to enhance compliance with the EMMP.
Develop Laboratory master concepts, implementation plans & budgets and Activity reports as per stipulated timelines.

Contribute to documentation of the best laboratory services practices, success stories, abstracts in the supported districts/region.
Perform any other duties as requested and assigned by the supervisor.
