Job Purpose/Overview

Contribute to the business by providing decision support through accurate planning, monitoring, reporting, and analyzing of Supply Chain financial results and projections.
Provide financial leadership to the Supply Chain department by sharing information and providing insights to influence decision making.

Role Responsibilities

Participate in all planning activities for Supply Chain, delivering Budget, Long range plans, re-forecasts, and monthly rolling forecasts.
Prepare cost center reports and carry out monthly cost center reviews with the Heads of department.
Weekly tracking of waste and leading conversations on corrective action
Weekly tracking of repair and maintenance budget and holding discussions with engineers on spend.
Participate in the monthly performance sessions by providing insights on cost drivers
Generate reports for monthly performance and providing guidance and insight to drive decision making.
Review, analyze and interpret product costings.
Understand production processes by regular visits to the factory floor and communication with the operations teams.
Audit post-production data and update costing accordingly
Support in process improvement across the supply value chain.
from the above-mentioned sub process areas, required actions determined and communicated to senior management.
Act as an internal consultant, creating an open environment in which excellent teamwork with other departments is fostered and which helps to improve procedures and flows of information. This will require a proactive attitude, teamwork and a full knowledge of the business, markets and competitors
Assist in identifying and employing interventions that will enhance the financial capability of the non-finance peers, including leveraging on SAP
Work on special projects as assigned by the Head of Supply Finance

Job Specifications/Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualification

Business degree
Chartered Accountant or similar qualification

Knowledge/Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably in an international FMCG company with at least 1 years’ experience, in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
Business co-piloting & ERP experience
Strong analytical and communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Good interpersonal and proactive approach
Ability to influence without formal authority.
