Reporting to the Technical Manager, the individual will be responsible for: 


Handling complex electronic repairs through component-level troubleshooting, soldering, and calibration
Managing team escalations and performing level 3 repairs
Maintaining accurate service logs, repair reports, and parts inventory
Executing firmware/BIOS recovery, bootloader fixes, and basic data recovery, where applicable
Providing technical support and communicating effectively with clients regarding diagnosis, repair processes, and timelines
Coordinating team activities and supporting daily duty allocation
Strong teamwork and leadership skills
Developing and mentoring junior team members


Requirements 


KNEC Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in motherboard/component-level repairs
Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting, soldering, and use of rework stations
Ability to read and interpret board schematics and circuit diagrams
Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI repair tools, flashing tools, and testing software
Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, and the ability to work independently
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
Networking skills will be an added advantage
