As a Collection Officer you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining positive customer relationships. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach to handle payment-related inquiries professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt Collection & Account Management:


Contact customers via phone, email, and letters to follow up on overdue payments.
Negotiate payment plans and settlement arrangements based on company policies.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment commitments.


Customer Service & Relationship Management:


Address customer queries regarding billing, payment options, and outstanding balances.
Provide excellent customer service while ensuring effective collection strategies.
Educate customers on payment terms and financial obligations.


Dispute Resolution & Problem-Solving:


Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes efficiently.
Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer concerns.
Recommend solutions for challenging collection cases.


Compliance & Reporting:


Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection.
Prepare reports on collection activities, outstanding accounts, and recovery rates.
Adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines when handling customer accounts.
