Key Requirements:


Financial and Cash Management: managing petty cash, coordinating and preparing payroll, handling bank reconciliations and payments, providing regular cash reports, and following up on receivables.
Financial controlling: monitoring expenditure, analysing cost savings and efficiencies, manging inventory and improving internal controls.
Reporting: providing monthly management accounts, as well as weekly and ad hoc financial reports on performance and cash forecasting. Managing the annual audit.
Accounting and Transaction Processing: data entry in ERP Priority accounting software, monthly end management accounts preparation, maintaining organized financial records, and managing the fixed asset register.
Compliance and Administration: ensuring the company’s certificates, statutory returns, and tax filings are up-to-date and providing general administrative support.


Qualifications:


Relevant Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
Accounting qualification (CPA (K)/ACCA Finalist).
Highly computer literate, especially in excel.
Expertise in ERP and accounting software systems.
Previous experience in agriculture and/or retail or distribution is an added advantage.
Self-confident, conscientious and organised.
Excellent written and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise.
Able to act independently and take responsibility.
