Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Compliance Officer. 

The successful applicant will work closely with the Recruitment Compliance Manager and other key stakeholders/departments, to ensure that recruitment processes are followed and all regulatory and compliance requirements are maintained. 

This role is offered initially on a secondment basis.

Key Responsibilities


Build knowledge of client recruitment processes and regulatory framework to contribute to and support ongoing contractual relationship with clients
Collect/Locate evidence for completion of internal/external audits
Review and assess submitted evidence
Identify risks and regulatory compliance gaps
Immediately escalate serious gaps in compliance
Create and maintain documentation
Work closely with the People Operations Compliance Manager in the creation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance
Stay informed about legal and regulatory requirements and ensure that applicable requirements are appropriately addressed
Work closely and communicate with Operational partners and stakeholders to ensure all compliance metrics are being met
Prepare detailed reports on issues found 
Be an advocate for increasing regulatory compliance awareness across the department
Any other duties as reasonably requested by the People Operations Compliance Manager


Essential Criteria


Previous experience in a recruitment, compliance or administration role
Strong communication and relationship building skills, with an ability to influence at all levels, across both internal and external stakeholders
Self-motivated, flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task
IT literate and competent using Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel


Desirable Criteria


Experience of conducting internal audits
Experience of creating process documents
Experience of managing risk treatment programs
Experience in Employment Screening
