Job Summary/Objective: 
As the Facilities Manager, your role encompasses strategic planning, coordination, and execution of facility-related functions. This includes overseeing maintenance, space utilization, safety protocols, and ensuring the overall well-being of the workplace. Your responsibilities extends to building and facilities maintenance, budgeting, managing third-party contractors, establishing FM policies and processes, integrating technology, optimizing space and energy, and spearheading facilities upkeep and improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities/Duties:

Develop and implement strategic plans for building and facilities maintenance to ensure long-term efficiency and sustainability.
Oversee facility budgeting and develop comprehensive plans to optimize financial resources.
Manage relationships with third-party contractors and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Establish and integrate Facility Management (FM) policies, procedures, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead technology integration initiatives within the facility management framework.
Coordinate space utilization strategies to optimize the facilities and ensure energy optimization.
Take charge of facilities upkeep and improvement projects, ensuring a conducive and well-maintained working environment.

Educational Requirements: 

Possession of at least a Bachelor's degree (HND/BSc./B.Eng/B.Tech) in Architecture, Building Technology, Estate Management or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural).
M.Sc./MBA with a focus on Facilities Management

Professional Qualifications:
Candidates must possess at least one of the following professional certifications:

Facility Management Professional (FMP)
Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
Certified International Workplace Facilities Manager (CIWFM)

ICT Requirement: 

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Proficiency in Facility Management software
Proficiency in utilizing IoT devices and sensors for real-time monitoring and data collection.
In-depth understanding of IoT technologies relevant to facilities management.
