Main Duties and Responsibilities

Optimize the supply activities by providing refined petroleum products to the right locations, at the right times, at the lowest possible cost, safely and incident-free.
Coordinate entire planning process, including procurement, storage, transfers, inventory control and distribution.
Drive operational excellence and sharing of best practices across the business to reduce the cost to serve on an ongoing basis
Oversee the purchasing of petroleum products required based on planned demand from the Supply Chain Planning Module and inputs from marketing
Custodianship and reconciliation of petroleum products inventories at company and third party locations
Inventory invoice processing and costing
Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders active in the supply chain of petroleum products to ensure the unhampered flow of petroleum products.
Assign roles to staff and supervise the implementation of key SAP processes in purchases and inventory management modules in SAP.
Ensure exchange of information to all other departments about planned imports, vessel schedules and cost of import for planned imports.
Execute hospitality storage agreements with terminals of interest with the approval of the General Manager.
Represent the company in stakeholders meeting in matters on the import of petroleum, customs procedures and regulatory authorities or as may be directed by the management.

Job Requirements

University degree/master's in Supply chain management
7 years’ experience in a similar position 5 of which should be in Oil & Gas sector
At least Five years. Experience in Oil & gas sector will be added advantage
Strong IT skills at end-user level for ERP
Understand the Oil & gas market dynamics
Ability to negotiate successfully for resources, budgets, and schedules
High degree of personal organisation
Proactive approach to risk management
Good communication skills (oral & written)
