I got an offer to become a map developer for a ROBLOX game that revolves around fighting. Basically building a small area based on a real location that fits the fight criteria. Though, I declined the offer because I had little hope to myself that I can't fullfill the promise on working, so I said no. After months have passed, I still have grudge on myself that I have feeling I'm humbling my hobby as if I can't achieve job like that. I should think about reaching out again.
Has anyone experienced this kind of thing?

    Just reach out.
If the offer is still there, take it.

  • I declined an offer to draw a story board about 18 years ago because I'm not the best when drawing from the head. SMH wasn't confident even though... even though storyboards are rough drawings. He never asked me to help with anything again. He is now a multi-million dollar artist who's work has been collected by BIG names like Jay-Z/Beyonce and many others. I regret my decision to this day. MAKE THE CALL!!  more

  • I have experienced this. projects coming my way that seemed like i cant do it or is too much for me to handle... but honestly, the fear is only there... if you dont take it on. you always learn when there's someone watching you. you can do it. if offer is still there, take it. if any other offer comes and you still feel like this, jump and take it.  more
