Key Skills & Qualifications:


Education: A Diploma or Degree (ongoing or completed) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
Must have completed at least Stage III (or equivalent) of coursework.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with common hand tools and mechanical repair techniques.
Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.


Key Competencies


Assist in conducting routine mechanical maintenance and equipment inspections.
Participate in diagnosing mechanical faults in pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and motors.
Support implementation of preventive maintenance schedules (AM & PM).
Help document maintenance tasks and update equipment logs.
Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams during machine servicing.
Learn to operate maintenance tools and adhere to workplace safety standards (OSHA compliance).
Assist in inventory checks of spare parts and tools.
Participate in cleaning and inspection support activities during machine downtime.
Carry out other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
