Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the organization’s systems, data, and networks.
Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security threats.
Monitor security systems, analyze alerts, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or relevant local standards).
Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
Conduct cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure, including LANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance to ensure reliability and scalability, resolving issues as they arise.
Manage network devices such as routers, switches, access points, and load balancers.
Ensure network security through access control, segmentation, and encryption protocols.
Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions, minimizing downtime and disruption.
Oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Maintain updated documentation of the network topology, upgrades and procedures.
Generate regular reports on cybersecurity incidents, and the general security
posture of the organization.
