Set up, install and maintain an efficient information network system for Pride.
Set up and configure switching and routing environments to ensure network connectivity for all users across the Bank network.
Monitor delay, latency, network unavailability and branch link usage statics.
Carry out daily administration and second level support of the voice network.
Maintain servers, routers, switches, workstations, standalone PCs and miscellaneous supporting devices and OS software.
Provide networking assistance to users including help with network connects and passwords.
Install network equipment and (as per the job analysis) maintain an inventory of all IT related equipment.
Develop an up-to-date network asset inventory and check that spare equipment is available at all times.
Carry out and document disaster recovery tests to ensure that the business continuity plan of Pride is effective in times of disaster.
Ensure regular preventive maintenance is carried out on the network equipment.
Liaise with third party suppliers and vendors to ensure that all IT related equipment and network operating systems operate to specifications.
Monitor security measures concerning the network by carrying out vulnerability and penetration tests and fix gaps identified.
