Key duties and responsibilities:

Perform transactional and administrative duties for the Africa Talent Acquisition team
Schedule complex interviews with multiple stakeholders across time-zones using video conferencing, Microsoft Teams, and other technologies
Proactively communicate with the interview team, recruiter, and candidates to ensure a professional and positive candidate experience
Handle employee records, auditing, filing and other activities as needed
Support HR audits and other related compliance activities
Supports the coordination of talent programs administration (fellowships, internships etc.)
Provide HR project support including developing communications, scheduling, training assistance, and meeting set-up
Support new hire onboarding, including coordination of new hire documents and background checks
Recruit and hire talent for junior-level positions

Required Experience:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 2 years of experience as a Talent Coordinator, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Flexibility to work within multiple time zones and multiple teams across the continent
Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience with Workday
Good problem solving, bridge building, and diplomacy abilities
Comfortable managing in a flexible and changing environment
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Proficiency in English is a must
Knowledge of French will be a plus
Knowledge of local labor practices and laws
Excellent organizational skills
Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya
