Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our dynamic team in Nairobi, Kenya. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations and analysis within a corporate setting. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our finance team to support various financial activities and contribute to the company's financial health.


Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
Support the daily reconciliation of financial transactions
Help in the development and maintenance of financial models and spreadsheets
Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and anomalies
Support the team in various ad-hoc financial projects and tasks
Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes
Help in the preparation of presentations for management meetings


Qualifications


Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial management systems
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Keen interest in learning about corporate finance and financial analysis
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus
