Job Summary
• The General Manager of Finance would be provide strategic financial leadership oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting and treasury management and ensure regulatory and policy compliance • The successful candidate will oversee the company's financial accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements • The role is central to maintaining the financial integrity and transparency of the company through timely and reliable financial records, statements and reconciliations
Qualification Required & Experience
• A master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field • A recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g, ICA, ACCA, CIMA) is required • A minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience, with at least 10 years in a senior management or leadership role in a reputable organization, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector • Extensive experience and strong knowledge of IFRS, Ghana's tax laws and public sector accounting • Extensive experience and strong of corporate finance, treasury and budget management • Proven experience in financial systems implementation, audits and regulatory compliance • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making abilities • High level of integrity, ethical standards, and financial stewardship • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
