Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct the design, selection, and implementation of all of Burn’s IT, hardware, software, and network solutions.
Create short and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining systems and software. Take a lead role in the technical planning for implementation.
Ensure that all Burns’ systems are well-integrated globally.
Collaborate with all business units to create system requirements and success criteria.
Identify software, hardware, and web solutions. Communicating the justification and reasoning to senior management and other stakeholders.
Ensure solutions meet all technical, business, and user needs.
Establish best practices for all network engineers, software engineers, and other staff.
Monitor network status and key indicators to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance and improvement needs.
Design and direct implement a test plan to check network performance.
Ensure data and hardware systems are safe and secure.
Manage an in-house team of systems, software, and hardware engineers.
Role may involve travel to other cities /countries as necessary

Skills and Experience:

10+ years of related experience in the related technology industry.
BS/MS in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Proven experience leading the design and implementation of business management systems.
Prior knowledge and experience managing and or implementing ERP, EPDM, CRM, SPM, or CCM systems.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration.
Developing network systems in a manufacturing context is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledgeable Scrum Master or proficient in Agile methodologies.
Working knowledge of AWS product ecosystem.
Previous experience writing code is a plus.
