Our client, a hotel based in Nairobi, is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join their team as a Sales and Marketing Supervisor. This pivotal role is responsible for driving food sales by strategically marketing and promoting the hotel's offerings in new territories surrounding their location. Additionally, the Supervisor will oversee a team of at least 5 food sales girls, providing leadership, guidance, and training to ensure their success in achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Marketing Strategy:
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to increase food sales and expand the hotel's customer base in new territories.
• Conduct market research to identify potential markets, analyze competition, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Plan and implement targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to drive customer engagement and increase sales.
2. Territory Management:
• Identify new territories near and around the hotel's location with potential for food sales growth.
• Develop partnerships and collaborations with local businesses and organizations to enhance brand visibility and increase sales opportunities.
3. Team Supervision and Training:
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of at least 5 food sales girls.
• Set clear sales targets and performance goals for the team, monitoring their progress and providing regular feedback and coaching.
• Conduct training sessions to equip the team with product knowledge, effective sales techniques, and exceptional customer service skills.
• Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and a focus on achieving sales objectives.
4. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
• Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
• Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Track and manage sales budgets and expenses, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the hotel's brand.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Leverage customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of the hotel's food offerings and services.

Requirements:
• Minimum of a diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team towards achieving targets.
• Solid understanding of territory management, market analysis, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate sales performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel within assigned territories as needed.
