Hello there
I have been working with a company for close to 15 years. It encourages you to go back to school to elevate your self Academically But when it comes to promotions every one knows you have to be connected politically. i wanna exist but there's that fear roaming around my Exist door. Any Advice related to this is welcome

    The best way to elevate yourself by getting promoted is to change jobs. It depends on how old you are when it comes to getting more schooling. If... you’re over 40, it doesn’t matter what schooling you have, they’re always going to hire the younger person. Always be job searching for the next level because it’s very rare that you get promoted from the inside. more

    How do you stand out? Is it noticeable? If not why? Be well rounded. Nowadays you can take classes online and obtain certs. What's the issue? The... owner could die, sell his business etc.  more
